Form Cycle Snapshot- Saturday April 18

Oaklawn Race 11
PP Selection 18Apr20 Oaklawn Race 11 $50K CLM 4+2
1 Toss Worked hard 1st off the layoff on a peanut butter track which may have looked positive but amounts to a draining effort as evidenced by getting dropped in for 1st time with a tag, category in which Asmussen is 9% with claimers over $40k. Unpopular toss as 2nd favorite on morning line but leaves room for shot at bigger value on ticket.
2 A Fits well here but easily beatable with other rivals that could try to get away with better position.
3 C 75/73h from 3/1 was aided by a very fast track that day and could use a downgrade but seems to have the right post to try and fire hard. Expect to weaken again but there's always a chance with inside position and a shot to get clear.
4 A 73/73 while stalking #3 and #10 last out, maybe looked somewhat uncomfortable tossing head a little bit but can't ignore that compressed pace line with tactical speed. Gets a rider uptick with red hot Rosario.
5 C Whatever Claudio was doing at LRL didn't work well last time same owners acquired and shipped to Fawkes but with racing suspended in that area, I suspect any ship is a horse in sound condition otherwise it'd be easier to pasture them.
6 D Has never seen a fast dirt track may be the excuse to back if there's room for a 50/1 on a ticket but don't force it.
7 B/C Bit of a natural closer hasn't seen a route in a while, could certainly appreciate the softer fractions here and make a run although the siblings all preferred to sprint
8 A/B 76/73 from 2 back would probably win this race, should include with the ability being known to be there.
9 C 63/72h looks like he could get to the mix at the wire but probably needs help to do it such as a pace setup as well as clean run. I'm not big on horses dependent on race shape.
10 A The 74/77 of 2 back was aided by a very speed-biased day but even with a downgrade still leaves runner facing a field he could grab a positional advantage up front once again if he chooses.
11 Toss Strong horse evidenced by ability to run better in muddy conditions but seems to lack fast track speed to run at this level, 71h/70h just doesn't stand out with this field.
12 C/D Seems to want to make one run late, the 62h/70h of last was better position than used to but still doesn't seem like it will be enough against this group
13 Toss Current form looks to be too slow for the 4% trainer
14 C If draws in, could choose to be the speed and try and steal the race but not sure I trust the bug to be aggressive enough from 14 spot, 0/18 routing

Welcome to Predicteform Pace Figures, Form Cycle Patterns and Value Play picks will tell you if a horse is likely to improve or regress in its next start. Easily accessible from any computer, tablet or mobile device, services horse players of all types. Access to printing PDF's is also available.

How do I get started?
Visit the Learn tab on the navigation bar where you'll find the Legend and Pattern Guide. These two tools combined will give you the knowledge you need to use

The Legend helps to explain how best to read the Pace Figures. It clearly defines what every line, symbol and figure means.

The Pattern Guide highlights Form Cycle Patterns, a series of 12 symbols/abbreviations, each with its own definition. These patterns are the easiest and most effective way to evaluate what we can expect from a horse's future performance and expected form cycle.

Value Play Picks use the automated technology and process to evaluate every track and race as well as the team's analytical expertise, we can now rank every horse by its likelihood of winning the race and value (initially relative to morning line odds).
Value Play picks are included as part of all subscriptions and you can view now on the Free Race of the Day.

Blinker's Off - We have also published founder Cary Fotias' unabridged book on Form Cycle Analysis, available by chapter free to all who register.

Free Race of the Day – Every day, we will make available the Pace Figures and Value Play Picks for at least one race. Pace Figures are what subscribers, both in the Value Play Picks and the comprehensive "advanced" view, can see for every horse of every race at every track. Check out today's free race here.

Free Track of the Weekend - Each weekend (Fri. - Sun.), Predicteform will offer access to the Value Play Picks, Pace Figures and Form Cycle Patterns. Access to this data will provide new users an ability to follow along and learn how read, analyze and use the Predicteform technology.
